Finally! (aka...at long last.)
The idea for ShopSheetMusic.com first came to me in college. My cousin had started a website. It seemed clear that he was on his way to becoming wealthy. Not only that, but owning a website was fun! He was making money selling metal tavern puzzles! Who knew?! (The world continues to enjoy the mental calisthenics he offers.)
One of the computer games that stuck my fancy as a child was Lemonade Stand. It was a game that reduced owning a business to the mechanics of buying lemons, placing stands, and deciding how sweet the mix should be. Too bad I couldn't spend all the money I made there!
I began my college career as a business major and graduated six years later with a wife, a kid and a music degree. (It's still kind of fuzzy.) ShopSheetMusic is the enterprise that marries what I learned in the business department to what the music professors taught me. I'm doing easy piano arrangements of hymns, children's songs, classical melodies and holiday songs. Enjoy. (Buy lots of music, it's cheap.)
Spacial thanks to all of the friends who have contributed time, guidance to make this happen: Seth Anderson, Ramon Williamson, Corey Brown and Mike Dowling. Finally, thanks to Jason Poffenberger, my business partner and the one who has taken everything that I've been taught and made it actually happen.
